About

Harbor Lane Botanicals is a small shop with a big drying room: dried flowers, herbal teas, handmade soap, bath salts and whatever else the season suggests. We opened in 2018 with a market stall and a van full of lavender, and have been slowly perfecting the same handful of things ever since.

Everything is made or blended by hand, in small batches, from plants we grow, dry or source from growers we know. We are more interested in things that last than things that trend — a dried wreath, a jar of tea, a bar of soap that cures for six weeks because it is worth it.

This journal is where we write about the craft behind the counter: how things are dried, blended, wrapped and kept. If you have ever wondered how a bunch of flowers becomes something that lasts a year, the answers are here.
